Cappybara
Why not? Let's face it, DCI compiled the most anti-Cadets judging panel on Saturday night to make sure Coats beat them. LOL.
Ghost
And there it is. And GH didn't type anything? Seems to me a stacked judges panel to stick it to your corps requires more belly aching than hash lines that need to be painted.

Tobias
The panel was the least favorable to the Cadets that you could possibly assemble for the most important show. Every corps has its more or less favorable panels, but this one was put in place to put Cadets in 3rd.

Yeah that must have been it. Couldn't have been that the Bluecoats just had a better package in design and performance.

Factually, there was only one judging panel the entire tour that agreed with your last sentence (based on placement). I don't buy the conspiracy theories, but I do think the change in spread from prelims to semi-finals between Cadets and Coats was a little hard to comprehend. The performances on the field threw that change into question at the time. But, that said, both corps were excellent and totally worthy of respect for what they achieved under fire. Judges not liking the Cadets is irrelevant to the question of Bluecoats having the possibility to win if the Devils choked. Anyways- no one, Bluecoats included, were as clean as BD. Judges aside, you can't deny a lead like that. BD could have choked and still won, especially with that 2.475 gap.

I heard one of those judges may have seen a second gunman on the grassy knoll.
