pistolpete
In media res: Latin for into the middle of things. Its a literary technique where the narrative starts in the middle of the story rather then the beginning. Last year a show of endings. This year starting in the middle. 2010- a show of beginnings? contrajedi8
lame. just like last year. I really haven't enjoyed a Crown show since 2005. That show is on heavy rotation on my drum corps playlist. Sounds like something I might see Tarpon Springs do at BOA finals.
Wadep66
Sounds like there will be a door in the middle of the field through which a girl............ oops, wrong corps. For those who trashed that concept, this sure sounds similar.
Galen
They're doing a show with a grass-inspired theme. It's just like the '70s again. In that case, I hope they don't plan on asking Kellogg's to sponsor them anytime soon

bawker
After last year, I thought Crown might go for blood and try something big rep wise. . . .however, this feels like it might be a twist on the 04/05 "classical opener/modern rock ballad/etc" programming with a little more attempt at story-narrative on top. It's Godzilla!
With this complicated of a narrative, I hope that they actually feature this year. Their storyline is always lost on me. Yeah, I got it was about horses, I got that it was about endings... but there was an actual storyline in both, right? Let's see if they can make that come across. whitedawn
i hope they don't catch the glassmen disease... you know, the one where you do really well competitively for a couple of years and then start doing shows with concepts that are so pretentious that you fail to write a good show.
