TerriTroop
Besides "Malaguena"?"Appalachian Spring/Simple Gifts" Every single time I hear that melody I always think "Cadets 87...Cadets 87...George Zingale..." That's funny, I think of 83 SCV. :) And then there's Danny Boy. Goosebumps just thinking about it. I think lots of songs say drum corps, but Malaguena has to be near or at the top. Battle Hymn is a close second for me, and then the list gets messy in my head. I know it's probably not top of the list for many, but one of my absolute favorites is Short Ride in a Fast Machine from Cadets 91. (that whole show totally rocked my world, actually. And the closer just kills me with the backbeats in the drumline near the end. I want them to keep going with it!)
MikeD
Hmm....I am thinking the 2004 Carolina Crown's "Seasons of Love" says "Drum Corps" to me.

Willie85
Hmm, not really a drum corps "song", but this is the first thing that came to mind - probably because it was a hit for Bob Seeger my age-out summer: Stood there boldly Sweatin' in the sun Felt like a million Felt like number one The height of summer I'd never felt that strong Like a rock I was eighteen Didn't have a care Working for peanuts Not a dime to spare But I was lean and Solid everywhere Like a rock My hands were steady My eyes were clear and bright My walk had purpose My steps were quick and light And I held firmly To what I felt was right Like a rock Like a rock, I was strong as I could be Like a rock, nothin' ever got to me Like a rock, I was something to see Like a rock
