BigBadMadMan
Really? Yep. Guys are playing with some nice control. They're not trying to blow it down, just focusing (it would appear) on technicality, intonation and blend.
crfrey71
By the way, speaking of the uniform, this was from the Scouts Facebook page today: "If you are an alumnus from the mid-70s and still have your uniform spats, we are trying to find a pair to use as a pattern for this year. If you could let us borrow them for a couple of weeks, develop the pattern and then return them....we will send you a Scouts t-shirt for your assistance. crfrey71
Just thinking....since the Scouts are not using a show theme or title, per se, how about we call it "A Drum Corps Fan's Dream, Part Tres: The Scouts Are Back!"
BRASSO
I have said it many times before....More so than any other corps When the Scouts are on top of their game, DCI is a much more exciting place. Agree. I think this year will be one of pleasant surprises. And not just with the Madison Scouts either. Nothing better than shaking the applecart up a bit. Madison Scouts have some new ,but very experienced and capable staff there. The word " boring " isn't in their lexicon or resume. I'm really looking forward to what the Madison Scouts put out on the field this year, and wish them the very best.
