Tyler C.
Having not seen a live show yet (this Saturday will change that), I'll stick to a pure programming comment. I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive to how Mackey's "Asphalt Cocktail" would transfer to the field (Georgia's All-State band played it this year, it rocked, I'll probably never adore an auxiliary part as much ever again ), but I could not be happier with how Bloo pulled it off. I have yet to see Pac Crest's rendition, but again, Saturday will change that.
BRASSO
On July 24th, DCI conducted their I & E ( Individual and Ensemble) competition. 5 Individuals competed in Flute. I missed the show. But it was probably nice.

mfrontz
The Cadets have translated "School for Scandal" to the drum corps idiom very well. No small feat.
BRASSO
The Cavaliers show is " Mad ". But they are happy and they smile a lot. I don't like mad. I like the Cavaliers brand of " Mad ". It's a nice sort of mad. And that's nice.

mckdan
BD - I loved the confidence they exude on the field. Cadets - I love that they gave Bobby Boucher a full time job! SCV - They exude class and professionalism. Glassmen - The drumline and hornline's uniforms are majestic and great under the lights. Troopers - They have an absolutely great staff which seem to have the ability of transform the corps strengths to the forefront and maximize their appeal and scores. Colts - They have a solid hornline sound that never seems to waver when their marching does. These are the only World Class corps I watched in person this year. Youtube is just not the same as being there!
