jwillis35
Sorry, Cavaliers, but that show is just plain bad. They are a great organization with incredible history, but this year it just didn't come together. I think I might have heard 3 full musical phrases in that show. Most of the time it's snippets of this and that, with like 8 drum breaks thrown in for good measure. The show is just choppy, lacking musical phrases and development, and the theme is lost or completely convoluted. Percussion is sweet and the drill is not bad. They just do not work with the music. 9th or 10th come finals.

SiBlueStar
Just got home, WOW Blue Stars! I LOVE the changes!!!!! If people are still putting them out of finals they're stupid, they're starting to get REALLY clean, if they've improved that much how much more can they go? Sky is the limit IMO, and I'm done being a honk on my favorite corps. I don't think the problem is so much that the Blue Stars are falling but that lower corps are rising. The competition is pretty good this season. I'd love to see the Blue Stars continue to get better.
OrlandoContraAlum
OrlandoContra: I don't know what you mean by Phantom's fans. I have always that off Phantom as being a classy organization, including fans. As have I, and for the most part it's true (100% with the corps)... but there have been stories about some of the fans... particularly the support staff. (Now I am REALLY in trouble!) craiga
I don't have FN, so I'm having to experience tonight's show through everyone's comments..so I have to ask: Who is better, Cavies, or Boston? Thoughts?
kevingamin
Wow, see how much better the soloists sound NOT micced? I do LOVE the straight take on Children's Hour. '96 just sounded too happy. :D
kevingamin
Great drum feature. Horn line sounds incredible, but they couldn't get permission to play the 20th Century Fox theme straight?
kevingamin
Remember how awesome Bela and Bird in Bb sounded in '91? Yeah, they just blew that out of the water.
