ashevillemurphy
so why aren't the "rules" amended so that content licensing has to be approved by the corps prior to the start of the season ... seems simple enough ... they certainly have to do that with musical content ... after all, it is all about commercialization Charlie Brown.

Well, when you spend half the season trying to decide what you're doing, it's difficult to acquire the licensing during preseason.

The licensing process can take a long time depending on the content... so much so that you would almost have to start the process a year or more in advance to get all of the necessary licensing in place prior to the season. When you don't know exactly what direction a show is going to go, that's hard to do. Add in the fact that it's not unheard of for a corps to replace a whole song/segment during the course of the season. How do you account for that? garfield
Let me get this straight, they're editing out voice? And the problem is?... Editing out ESOM bothers me, editing out the sampled voice of Charlie Brown? Not so much. Now, if they can just figure out how to edit out some of the amps...

skevinp
Is this saying that the part with the voices near the end is being muted out to complete silence, so the music won't be heard either?
