The Troopers

Statement of Program Service Accomplishments

(Note: Only the corps is listed in all three years.)

2009: Revenue: $323,680, Expenses: $703,354

2010: Revenue: $477,764, Expenses: $798,600

2011: Revenue: $181,139, Expenses: $868,268

Note: Remember that the corps not being able to support itself on its performance revenue is not, necessarily, a bad thing if they have other revenue-generating programs to support it, like gaming or outside businesses.)

The Troopers

Statement of Revenue

(Note: Revenue is broken down into three categories: "Contributions, gifts, grants, etc", "Program Service Revenue", and "Other Income". Each category may have more than one line entry.)

Contributions, gifts, grants, etc

Membership Dues

2009: $202,329

2010: $227,481

2011: $247,425

Fundraising events

(Note: Fundraising also shows up in "Other Income".)

2009: $118,141

2010: $0

2011: $0

(Observation: It appears that fundraising was moved to "Other Income" in 2010 and 2011)

All other contributions, grants, gifts, etc

2009: $67,857

2010: $215,625

2011: $73,614

(Observation: The inconsistency in 2010 makes me suspect some other income line item was moved here. It may reveal itself as we look at the other income categories. It could also be that they received a one-time gift in 2010, which we might be able to identify in the notes later on.)

Total Contributions, gifts, grants, etc

2009: $388,327

2010: $443,106

2011: $321,039

Revenue

Program Service Revenue

(Note: This is an easy category to list because Troopers only show one line item: Corps Income.)

2009: $123,134

2010: $134,337

2011: $154,467

(Observation: this looks pretty good so far, though we don't know what's bundled in here.)

Troopers have a pretty robust gaming program, but their fundraising is sporatic and concession programs are loss leaders.

I wonder if Wyoming gaming laws are favorable to Indian tribes as in other states.

Arguably one of the most recognizable brands in the activity is a souvie loser?

Disappointing...

Not souvies, Daave, concessions. As in food, I think, for their bingo operation, I think.

Souvies will show up in "Inventory Sales", coming up shortly.
