corps8294
I would love to know what those at the top of the activity's hierarchy think of Boston's show and the recent additions.
skevinp
From artistic point of view you have your head up your a//. I have a hard time distinguishing those masks. Which guard member is the a// and when in the show does this acrobatic feat occur?
Ghost
I have seen the shows. slow down and play. There is no show out there that is on the level of BAC The show can not be judged on the same level. what you see is not what can be judged visually. They are moving to fast (so they are " dirty") Ha right. Look at the judges on the field they just stand there and look mesmerized. In July of 64, the corps competed at two shows in WI against the mid-west guns at the time. One of the Boston papers that had a D&BC column mentioned how we were marching so fast and moving so much, the judges couldn't keep up with us. The corps won that night, but only finished fourth at the VFW in Cleveland that year.
RContra
Cavaliers 2001 and Crown 2012 had far harder drill and were much more successful. Even lower corps have done shows as hard or harder. Blue Stars 2012, anyone? Still loving me some Animal Farm, difficulty or no. Get it, BAC.
Ghost
From the corps Facebook photo's, it looks like they have 36 age outs. Hope they can retain the majority of the other mm.
chaos001
Again, I absolutely loved the show this year. I hope they take this design approach and refine it into something special in the next few years!
pbeau
You don't have to know a thing about drum corps to be here you just need to sound like your informed. So, if anybody wants to know what you think about a corps you say, "Their show is dirty". That's it!
SuperSaderFan
To be discussed and debated is an indication on being relevant. Although I do not always agree or disagree with every post - thank you for caring enough to offer your thoughts on a Drum Corps that we love very much. Plans are already underway for an incredible 75th anniversary in 2015! No time to rest, theres work to be done!
