FlamMan
Crosspost from the Finals thread. BD getting perfect caption scores is ridiculous. It is impossible for 150 human beings to perform an 11-1/2 minute show with no mistakes. There are lines that aren't straight, feet that aren't clean, forms that aren't fully developed, etc... This is not an indictment against BD, but rather the judges & judging system.

Seriously?

Go read any of the several threads that have an ongoing conversation about how there is no such thing as a perfect score.

caliswift
Do we really have to explain the "perfect score" fallacy...again? Seriously? Do we really have to explain how you're condesending again? It's a flawed system if one corps' score can change anothers. Explain all you want doesn't mean it's right. The numerical representation that the system allows is invalid.

It's more like an indictment of your intelligence if you truly feel that every time a judge maxes out his or her sheets for a corps, they're saying that their show was without any error. caliswift
Clearly irrelavant. Thats why DCI is boasting it everywhere, conversations on every site everywhere and the members were shocked with the score. But please tell us how irrelevant it is. Obviously you know more about drum corps than DCI. Edited August 10, 2014 by caliswift

More of that wonderful DCP arrogance. Whether or not something can be explained does not make it right.

Flawed system?...In competition and comparing one to another of course one effects another, or at least drives numbers up or down. You just don't like the answer.
