Railfan
A journey through the American peoples' music: Spirituals, to Barbershop Quartets, to Dixieland Jazz and Big Band Jazz, to the Blues and finally Rock and Roll. HornTeacher
That (or any kind of daredevil show, for that matter) sounds more like something I can see the Bluecoats doing. Tilting could definitely prove dangerous, however.
Cadevilina Crown
Okay, here's another great idea: Cavaliers doing John Mackey's "Wine-Dark Sea."
jjeffeory
Somebody needs to do a whole show of "Of Sailors and Wales".
Cadevilina Crown
Somebody needs to do a whole show of "Of Sailors and Wales". The first movement would make a great opener. I don't really care for the rest of it.
jjeffeory
The first movement would make a great opener. I don't really care for the rest of it. It's been done at the highschool level at Grand Nationals a VERY long time ago and it was done VERY well. Of course it's too short and would need some tweaks, but I've seen it done pretty well. ChuckH
Someone needs to do a tribute to VK. I'm tellin' ya -- a space show with Star Trek's Doomsday Machine substituting for the shark. :-)
KVG_DC
Kiss of the Spider Woman with the Kander and Ebb book from the B'way show. I dunno, I could easily see BD knock this one out and have their guard rock some of those dance showstoppers. But they did a 'tribute to the movies' deal this year already. drangin
I've seen several mash-up shows, such as Colts' combining Wizard of Oz with Dark Side of the Moon. I'd like to see some PDQ Bach on field: Quodlibet, Unbegun Symphony. That would be a hoot.
hughesmr
What if each corps did a parody show of some other corps? Edited August 11, 2014 by hughesmr
