KVG_DC
Reviving this thread as I got an idea today... Has anyone gone with a show using any of the various forms of African traditional or the contemporary/traditional styles? There's a lot of polyrhythmic and polyharmonic sound that could make for some challenging and arrestingly unique shows. Something like a ballad in the style of Ladysmith Black Mambazo would challenge a corps to capture a wide depth of harmonies.
Screamer
I would love if Blue Devils, Coats, Crown, or Cadets were to do a Jazz Show again.
mellogoodcritic
I would really like to see a corps do The Divine Comedy by Robert W. Smith. I could see Santa Clara Vanguard doing the show.

They've played jazz music, but shows? And was it really jazz when they played it?
Runner235
I'd really like to see one of the top horn-lines take on Heitor Villa-Lobo's Symphonies #3 and #4. Great pieces, just relatively unknown here in the states.
noahsigs
If Carolina Crown did a show based off of Wicked, I would be so happy you have no idea. They could pull it off so well.
