Tobias
Let's see ... SCOUTS need a bold splash of red ... hmmmm ... I wonder what they could do? Maybe a boa?
Madcityscout
I don't have a problem with them not having camps in Wisconsin. They have two shows and rehearsals there during the summer.

Not to mention holding the end of spring training and other events there. I agree there's nothing wrong with rehearsals being held elsewhere. Pretty standard practice for many corps, at least for camps.
xandandl
This was on the DCI announcements page as you know. Its not much, but to me it does seem like a lot of underlying synth... https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10152570886450916 Edited March 6, 2015 by xandandl

That the percussion line was not fully present does not preclude an instructor/conductor from pushing electronic buttons for a rehearsal. My sense is that there is an electronic undertone to the treble sound, perhaps a support. Maybe it is due to the computer system through which I listen or the speakers or the FB link??? I ask a question. Good day. Edited March 6, 2015 by xandandl

I ask a question. Good day. Not questioning your ability to read, although I will question your grammar and punctuation. At any rate, having been at camp when these recordings were made, I'm going to state as fact that you're wrong. I'm of course basing my statements on being in the gym and not listening on a computer. Feel free to disagree again, but you'll be wrong.
HockeyDad
So there's not gonna be any synth?

tesmusic
So there's not gonna be any synth? I was referring to the recording in question. There' was speculation that the recording had synth on it. Possibly playedby a staff member since it was a brass only camp. The fact is that there was not synth as I saw/heard no electronics used with the hornline at camp. Will there be in the front ensemble. We'll have to see. But they weren't utilized on those camp videos.
