Herk
Can someone explain the whole periscoping thing to me? Not quite in touch with it yet. It's an app that works in conjunction with Twitter. It enable a person to broadcast a continuous live feed and enables others to watch the feed and present comments. It started as an iOS-only app, but has been extended to Android. So...the first thing you have to do is have a Twitter account. Then you install the app. At that point you are ready to watch broadcasts...or start your own broadcast. If you have "followed" someone and they start a broadcast, Periscope will notify you with a cute whistle. There is a thread on DCP where people can tell us if they are going to be 'scoping or if they've found someone broadcasting. You can also search through the app. I suggest a search of "DCI" and "drum corps" to get started. I hope this helps. I'm loving Periscope this year. Peel Paint
Thanks, Herk. I wasn't getting it either even after reading the Periscope thread at DCP. Appreciate it. Edited June 20, 2015 by Peel Paint
Crown Phan
Nice to see such a marked improvement from Rhythm in Blue (Bluecoats Alumni corps) in just a year since their formation. What fun!

You don't necessarily need Twitter to have a periscope. I definitely didn't.
