Rose Bowl- Corps at the Crest Part Dos

Recommended Posts

BD back on the field after a little break in the action... SCV scoring strong, Phantom and BK are right on top of each other... Pac Crest is rising, Academy sitting in 12th score wise right now.... Great stuff going on out West.

Here's the lineup:

PERFORMING CORPS

Listed in reverse order of performance.

Santa Clara Vanguard - Santa Clara, CA

Blue Devils - Concord, CA

Phantom Regiment - Rockford, IL

Pacific Crest - Diamond Bar, CA

Blue Knights - Denver, CO

The Academy - Tempe, AZ

Mandarins - Sacramento, CA

Gold - San Diego, CA

Impulse - Buena Park, CA

Golden Empire - Bakersfield, CA

Incognito - Garden Grove, CA

Watchmen - Riverside, CA

I'm thinking BD beats SCV tonight but the gap narrows... BK over Phantom by 3 tenth so since both corps have beaten each other by .1 and .2 respectively. Pac Crest gets beat by Academy. Mandarins continue strong showing.

I'll say:

1) BD 77.1

2) SCV 76.3

3) BK 72.6

4) Phantom 72.3

5) Academy 66.0

6) Pac Crest 65.5

7) Mandarins 63.4

Rose Bowl: My goal is to get to warm-ups at 5:30. At 6:30-ish I'll shoot small sections of the shows from my amazing 50 years line seats high up.
First attempt at scope~ @VenicebarberDM

Odd but I'm getting rain sprinkles in San Diego bay on a sailboat. Supposed to have some storm later. Hopefully nothing happens tonight in Pasadena

the_Kid and I are in Irvine and had a little rain this morning. Sunshine now. Heading to the Bowl in about 1/2 hour.

SC has been doing shows, Devs have not. SC is performing last. I smell possible upset. Only thing for certain is, every corps has to max out each performance opportunity....

I just don't think anyone can coast along. They'll get buried.

Can't wait to see all these shows again! Wearing my new #PHRENCH Oui Oui Regiment shirt and my SCV cap! Good to luck to all tonight.....with a special shout out to Academy, Phantom Regiment, and Santa Clara! But, I know I'm gonna love 'em all.
