They have half a mile of cable on the field this year. Some of it goes down the back sideline from the rear speakers, along the endzone, and then along the front.

Per Erik: "We are using four pods on the field that each have a DSR sub, DSR215 speaker, and two mics. We are running 4 pair snake cable (2 sends, 2 returns, one as backup) along with 12-3 extension cord to all the pods. The cables on the outside pods run from the 10 to the end zone, to the back sideline, and then to the back 50. The center pod cables just run straight back on the yardline to the back sideline, and to the 50. On the 50 we have a cart that has a generator, power conditioner, and a digital snake. From there we run CAT6 6 ALL the way around the field to the mixer in the pit. We use one laptop as an effects processor for the on field mics (as well as some other stuff). We use a second laptop with MainStage for all samples, it has 2 DTXs and a 61 key midi controller hooked up to it. We are also using an XF7 for additional sounds."

They have several good YouTube videos in their BD360 series that explain the show. It's a show about children's fairy tales.

If you need to watch a separate video to understand it...

Larf. They bring the drum major out in a hamster ball. I do like the soloist who stands in one as they move it around a bit and the guard does that subtle motion around it at the start of Woods.
