I'm from the part nobody talks about.....................................Canyon Texas in the panhandle. REAL TEXAS YA'LL. Though we once had a DCI show here in 1999 when I was but a small child, parents who had no idea what drum corps was and hadn't been in band or anything music related in high school watched who they think was Phantom Regiment rehearse in Hereford where I'm originally from and had 5 year old me with them, don't remember it somehow. And Southwind was promoted to Open Class this year after doing Soundsport last year to whomever was asking.
