CrownBariDad
Disagree. That drumline wasn't "good enough." Crown had to put up several perfect scores to overcome that low percussion score in 2013. They may do the same this year. Disagree all you want. This was all discussed here in 2013 -- they were good enough to contribute to the win. Cappybara
So BD's penalty was due to a warmup infraction. I'm sure people will chime in on the details as they become available. My question is who are the people assessing that? Aren't all of the judges occupied during the performances and actually judging the performances? Who is left to catch these sorts of things? Well I mean, they have a judge specifically for this infraction. Tony DiCarlo.
Harmonious Cacophony
Disagree. That drumline wasn't "good enough." Crown had to put up several perfect scores to overcome that low percussion score in 2013. They may do the same this year. Crown posted 97s and 98s in twelve of the 22 subcaptions--I think a few 100s may be possible on Saturday night in GE and Music.
packetslave
How is that little girl in the yellow dress even legit? Isn't she too young to be on the field? I need a ruling here. She's a member of Blue Devils C
c.l.
Crossmen 6th in guard over BS. Don't recall them being that close this season the other way. Excited that Cascades are in semis.

cf144
Crossmen got a warmup infraction penalty in semis last year for the tenors warming up in a prohibited area. They got a full 1.0 point penalty that ###### nearly kept them out of finals. Edited August 7, 2015 by cf144
corpsband
Just saw on FB: The drum line used a dr. beat during the warm up. Apparently it's a DCI rule. Scott didn't know
FTNK
I know it's basically forbidden to say this on DCP but Blue Devils were my favorite. And I'm not a homer They just keep serving up varied, inventive, entertaining musical and visual moments performed at an unbelievable level
CrownBariDad
DCI Historians: When were the last prelims/quarterfinals where we had TWO penalties? Both "modern" and "tick" eras.
