mfrontz
Am I hearing some ensemble issues with Crossmen? It might just be my nerves, but a couple...
Liahona
Am I hearing some ensemble issues with Crossmen? I think you may be right...was not as tight as it has been...overpowering synth maybe?
CrownLeadSop
I really love the troopers brass this year...honestly if I didn't know who they were and was just listening I would not even think this was troopers brass...this is best I've heard from them in decades! I think their visual program is also a huge step up from years past as well...I loved the show guys! "Breathe-Dah" methodology has taken over there, planted by Donnie Van Doren. Similar approach as Crown 03-09 (and beyond in some respects), Madison 2010-2014, etc.
rainshdw08
Yes, unfortunately she's a good performer, but her singing ( Troopers) is out of tune, and has been for much of the season. It's because she's running around...then stopping to sing. She's out of breath, her heart rate is up and at times with the rest of the corps playing, its hard to hear herself sing. Unlike the Colts singers who just stand there and sing. Either way, I prefer no singing. I don't think it helps any with scores. The rest of the corps could be playing during all that acting and singing. If I want that, I'll go to a stage show, which I frequent often. Liahona
It is a lot of pressure being in that 12th place bubble...that everyone below you is gunning for...I'd imagine...
Aké
You get much more "In your face" brass than Crossmen's ballad, what a great moment!

KVG_DC
It'd go totally against the ethics of judging but, "Hey guys, what's the spread here between 12 and 13? Let's make the penalty that and have bonus entertainment tomorrow."
