smj02
I have no idea as to the actual title. Sometime, though, BK should do a show titled "Connect the Dots."
ilovecheese
It`s going to happen very soon. The great event which will end the horror. Which will end the sorrow. Next Tuesday, when the sun goes down, I will play the Moonlight Sonata backwards. This will reverse the effects of the world`s mad plunge into suffering, For the last 200 million years. What a lovely night that would be. What a sigh of relief, as the senile robins become bright red again, And the retired nightingales, Pick up their dusty tails, And assert the majesty of creation! Nice!

jjeffeory
http://ascendperformingarts.org/blue-knights-announce-2016-show-the-great-event/ Blue Knights announced. Show title is The Great Event. Composers: Rouse, Goldenthal, Part, Cohen, Beethoven, Davis, and Sleeping at Last. No idea what this will be like, but I'll probably like it. ChuckH
Ah, I DIDN'T guess the show title. But I was right next to the obvious choice. (Trying to be too clever.)
Herk
I really have to thank BK for continually expanding my musical exposure these last several years. I have only heard one of these pieces before in my life. So...the conclusion of the series? Death and rebirth?
xandandl
Very nicely designed announcement, visually and content-wise. Interesting selection of new drum corps music.
JoshClements403
This show is a musical interpretation of "the great event" by Leonard Cohen. The opener is Rouse's "Gorgon" acting as the event and the rest of the show is the aftermath of said event. Dark, powerful, beautiful.
