Herk
Um...we had timing penalties a lot early season one year I marched, for going over time. Those were the rules. We would have been penalized for going under time too if we had. No one was crying in their corn flakes. But, I guess you think it's fair BK is judged on a 7 minute performance versus everyone else being judged on a 10 minute performance. That makes sense. What makes you think the judges are giving BK a break for a shorter show? Their score tonight sure doesn't indicate that.
jjeffeory
I don't know who Mark is, but if he is BK's director and wants to talk he can reach me on here and I'd be happy to talk to him and tell him how lame it is. Mark Arnold? Long time BK corps director? Surely you jest.
BigBadMadMan
The only thing lame is your attitude. Calm down, dude. It's a message board and these are opinions. Don't stroke out over there.
henry7184
Says the one flipping out over every response challenging your viewpoint............ I'm sitting here laughing. I don't care if people agree with my opinion or not. Edited June 25, 2016 by henry7184

Newseditor44
You're right, when push comes to shove it's really not a big deal. Getting penalized for going over is a completely different story. In terms of getting judged, IMO I don't think we should be announcing scores until the second week of tour. The first 10 days should be evaluation only. That gives the judges a chance to give their initial feedback, corps to get their entire shows on the field, and the kids a chance to shake the cobwebs out and get used to performing their shows. DrumManTx
I'm sitting here laughing. I don't care if people argue with my opinion or not. Yet you went back to The Cadets thread begging for forgiveness after that whole fiasco on Monday. Look, I really don't care if you hate the fact that Blue Knights are not coming out with a full show. I might not agree, but I can EASILY understand your argument. But the way you are arguing it is not going to get you anywhere. So if you're just doing it to make people mad and laugh about it behind your keyboard, keep it up. You're doing a good job. I'm sorry for getting heated. It's more about the disappointment of not hearing the whole show than anything. It was especially so last year, when I saw how wonderful their show really was a few weeks later on dci.org. I was like - man, I missed all that. Herk
IT also doesn't show a penalty on the recap As far as I know there is nothing in the rules requiring a penalty for a partial show. But that doesn't mean they were given a break. (oh...wait...you are the guy who thinks they SHOULD get a penalty because you paid for a full show and BK didn't give it to you)
