Tenoris4Jazz
That ending... what it is, number 4? Seems forced now.
KVG_DC
The music is amazing, the overall cohesion of the show seems a step behind what Crown is doing, particularly with Crown's changes tonight.
garfield
Wow, golf claps? That show was worth more than that, IMO. They really lost the crowd.
phd-student-TTU
Um, I never say this about The Cadets, but their thematic programming is...suspect. Crowd gave polite applause.
pbeau
Cadets Pine of Rome is some of the best drum corps of the year. John Makey numbers not so much.
THeShadeOfNight
Positive of the new ending: no more temper tantrum swirl from statue man.
snare_guy_83
I like 3 things about this Cadets show... 1) The Battery 2) The Ballad 3) When they march off the field I'm a long time Cadets fan but just can't seem to get behind this one, and believe me I've tried.
wvu80
So... heres the question... multi cam or high cam for the cadets? Multi. +++ That whole "wicked witch of the West" section in the mid/end with all the minor chords...I'll be polite, it's not my favorite part of the production. MikeRapp
Like the ending, still some work to do. Crowd seemed mesmerized but a little confused. Huge sound, drums and pit are flat out amazing. Biggest sound so far but there were uncustomary drops in volume in the last third. Mannequins are awful, though. Sat on the right side for no apparent reason. They were never even a part of any part of the show. Lose them now. Gonna lose phone power. Will recap more later. Nice work George, what a corps! KVG_DC
I hate the new ending. I understand why they did it maybe, but it just completely removes the gravity and emotion of the choice that the statue has to make between humanity and the old way of his life. They went the cliche happy ending reprise route. That COME AT ME BRO pose at the beginning of that fight is laughable. Which sucks because I absolutely have fallen in love with the front 75% of that show. :/ Also, having him end the show flat on his back while in his anatomical enhancements seemed a bit....awkward.
