Just because you don't make an actual prediction...does not mean people don't infer sentiment from your writing..I do that from lot's of posts I read here... The key thing here is that no fan base has a group of fans that are monolithic in their thoughts on ANYTHING in Drum Corps.. let alone what placement they think their Corps will have for that season. So we both share the same thing on this season, ie, neither one of us has made a " hyped " commentary nor a " hyped " placement prediction on any Corps at all this season. I havn't made a 2017 placement prediction on Boston, nor any Corps here on DCP..... but I was dragged into this thread this morning on LAST years Corps placement predictions I made.. haha!... how silly is that?... George Dixon predicted 4-6. True.. what we take away from this is essentially, my central point... no Corps fan base has fans that think alike. Some have higher, lower placement predictions, others have not participated in any 2017 DCP placement predictions at all. For context here, my reply here was to the poster above that cited " Boston fans " above, as if its a monolithic thinking group.. Its no big deal though. Just needed to point out that there is no Group Think that I'm aware of in any Corps fan base in DCI. Boston, Cadets, or any other Corps for that matter.
