How do you know someone's a vegan?

I don't but the kitchen team does. I'm personally not savvy to all the dietary lingoes {who eats eggs but doesn't eat the chicken that hatched them, etc.)

Most corps today have the kids fill out a food allergy/sensitivity, cultural/religious consideration dietary form either during the early camps or at least by Spring Training. Just as the medical team knows who is allergic to what, so that info is relayed to the rest of the tour staff as part of  the insurance protection (cya) of the corps. At least in my time, the bus captain on each bus has a binder with such info of each passenger on the bus should the caravan ever get separated and an emergency arise. Today it's all on I phone and computer. The corps must be doing it right because those MMs certainly have the energy to do those shows.
