I rode it last year when I went to France (as well as the TGV, twice). I wish we had that here in America. 3 hours ago, jonwoody said: I'm going to be riding the bus to the port of authority tomorrow lol. Good luck with that. That #### terminal is like going to purgatory, except you're going to hell. Wait a #### minute....did he just say port "OF" authority????

Sounds like a Private school I taught at that's since went out of business. I've referred to it as a "Klingon Death Camp for Teachers". Oh man... that bus terminal in the 1970s was like the Wild West. You considered yourself fortunate if you got out onto the street without being mugged, or otherwise accosted. LOL. Last time I was through there was in 2014 or so... it was a much better atmosphere than back in the day, in terms of safety. But still not exactly an uplifting experience. The GWB bus terminal was just remodeled and the experience is SOOOOO much better than the PABT. My brother drives for New Jersey Transit, and he HATES going to the Port Authority. Of course, back in that era, once you got out onto the street, you were even MORE likely to be mugged. Today, you get Disney and Carlos' Bakery on 42nd street.
