Tim K
OK, Madison's show is not what most of us think of when it comes to Madison, and a lot has to happen this off season, but the men of Madison and their soloist should be very proud of their job this afternoon. They had a very solid performance and should be pleased. I enjoyed it and lots of people were on their feet.

Not defending that show, just thinking that your reasoning seems unjustified. I just feel some early season losses (esp to colts) were completely wrong, and they got stuck there the rest of the season

KVG_DC
This Colts opener is moving for me. I'd seen this show before this season, but last night in the theater hearing Motherless Child just hit me big. (Mom died 2 1/2 years ago.) I trust the DCI judging system and the judges. I just don't follow the judging activity as closely as I should.

Not arguing, I'm asking out of ignorance of the judging system. They changed they way MA & Percussion work this offseason. MA at the big shows is now 2 judges in the box, one with a brass background and one with a percussion background. Percussion is now just a single field judge for all shows (this is significant because the awarding of the Sanford now goes back to being determined by the average of three judges instead of six).
barigirl78
This is a good run by the Colts, a corps I always enjoy.
