Not to be confused with the assistant to the regional manager.

Easy does it. Just replying to EricS post of "Shaw did turn around SCVs brass fairly quickly, so..........." so my non researched post had me thinking SCV had better brass results, but I was wrong. Nothing about final placements. In 2011 PR's brass had a 18.3 to SCV's 17.7. In 2012 PR was 19.4 and SCV 18.8. Only if one or both of the Caption Managers below are gone too, since they do most of the work.

Shall we agree to disagree? I value a caption supervisor as a queen in chess and caption managers (or heads) as rooks. Edited September 1, 2019 by Jurassic Lancer For being stupid. kdaddy
I didn't know Evan van Doren was an arranger, but it's clear that he owes me... https://vandoren-music.com/project/wondrous-light/ On 8/15/2016 at 4:33 PM, kdaddy said: "Wondrous Light" Frenergy - John Estacio Gazebo Dances, Waltz - John Corigliano Such Sweet Sorrow - John Estacio Wondrous Light - John Estacio Gazebo Dances, Tarantella - John Corigliano

I value a caption supervisor as a queen in chess and caption managers (or heads) as rooks. From what I understand the transition to "Caption Supervisor" last year was to make it a bit more hands off position for Crotts anyway. The horn line was really run by Mark Nichols (the Caption Manager) day to day. According to people close to the corps Crotts was around a little in the beginning of the season and a few days at the end, but not really running much of anything. Fortunately for SCV it seems like Mark and the core team of brass staffers are still on board for 2020 along with some new additions. The other strange thing about all of this is how active TrumetCam (aka Chip Crotts) has been on this thread talking about himself in third person and how SCV music will be taking a step back without him being there....
