Tim K Posted May 30, 2020 Share Posted May 30, 2020 Though there could be a serious issue that will fill these threads with lots of comments, there are a few things to keep in mind. 1. DCI let go of a large number of staff, which could include the person who had responsibility for the website. When downsizing it is not uncommon to hire outside companies for certain jobs. I know of a tech company that has had an increase in customers since Covid-19 for this very reason. If that’s the case, the website may be down until Monday morning. 2. It’s a Saturday in an extended off season. Other than buying merchandise, what is so pressing that the website has to be running today? 3. Servers malfunction and websites go down.
