Those kids must have been so fricken proud to have been part of that corps. Along with that achievement comes nerves. Imagine that you are the first Boston corps to get to finals after so many years. These kids are taught about recovery. He did it very well. Such a proud moment.

BD did go on last because it was their home show. There was no scores and BD I believe took off after the show for a mid-west tour doing both two shows and at that time a stage show. A few weeks later they met SCV in San Jose for their home show which SC won. The last year of G-bugles. N.E. Brigand
This was the only year from 1987 through 2019 that Bluecoats didn't make Finals. 2

A moment I’ll never forget that says a lot about what drum corps is. Also same night the Dallas Stars sort of won the Stanley Cup. 1

I saw them at the Canton show on Aug. 8, 1999 (just a few days before championships) and I was shocked when they placed fifth, although one of my friends attending said she felt it was a boring show, adding something like, "I'm getting tired of the Bluecoasts' schtick." I miss those home shows like Precision West and Pacific Percussion. Stockton show was also in the mix as well. Great memories.
