I was overseas and just before they took my bags off the scale I saw HIA on the tag. Whoa!!!! Played tug of war with agent who didn’t believe MDT. “That’s not even close to Harrisburg “. “Yeah it means Middletown… trust me… I live there… quit trying to take my bag 😡” Probably my greatest concern. So I’m taking a carry on as well as my checked piece with a duplicate of everything. 👍✅ Edited August 2, 2022 by keystone3ply Cx

Only thing lost for me was a box of computer parts owned by Uncle Sam. Should have seen guys face at the counter “oh you lost your luggage “? “No… YOU lost couple thousand dollars worth of federal property.” Guy was reaching for the lost luggage paperwork… stopped.. and then grabbed a separate form with an “oh crap” look on his face. DeanInChicago
My annual trip to Indy from Chicago for Finals is on the bus. Though Megabus pulled out of the Chicago and Indy markets, there is still the dependable Greyhound, or two good upstarts: FlixBus or Barons. I like Barons - where you Ride like Royalty. Roundtrip runs about $70, much more than the $1 fares I often landed on the former Megabus.

We don’t usually get storms until after 5pm. Of course, I don’t know what’s happening at our destination.

My ATL to IND made it through the storms.
