If it matters to anyone, his daughter teaches a top 5 corps

His daughter isn’t the concern. He is.

Good lord close this thread. dude was at an event as a spectator and y’all are coming at him with pitch forks ready to burn him at the stake.

His history with students proves he shouldn’t be allowed near them.

As someone who works in the legal field but not a criminal lawyer it’s pretty impossible to ban him from an open public event unless that was part of his probation or there was a restraining or protective order.

But it is perfectly legal to refuse service. They can decline to sell him a ticket.  Pubs, clubs, stadiums, all have no sell lists.

If you are oldestoftheold, like me, you know the history of this activity and how Drum Corps looks the other way, and even celebrates predators.  It's history repeating itself again and again and again and again.

I've seen this movie before.  I'm surprised you haven't.

Drum corps celebrates predators??? Get the heck out of here with this crap. Shame on you. No one celebrates predators.

It does have a problem cleaning it’s house.  Troopers, X-men, Oregon, phantom, spirit, cadets…

That should have been addressed during the probation hearing. A stipulation would be he can’t attend any dci sanctioned shows. Sounds like this not to be.

Thats not "celebrating".

Sure.  It’s not removing the problems either. Or even trying to.  It’s more of a “let’s wait and see if this bites us in the butt” approach. That’s not better.

The one thing that the organization can actually do, and doesn’t need to work that hard to be proactive for once.  Doesn’t need a court order to do it.
