Marching forward at pace makes them flare out to create a black backdrop for each individual marcher. oldbandguy Posted July 30, 2022 Share Posted July 30, 2022 Many DCI shows were held in Columbus, Ohio at Cooper Stadium, home of the Yankees AAA baseball team the Clippers. The corps had to deal with the pitcher's mound and the dirt that was 2nd base. They did try to layout the field so the front sideline was parallel with the spectator stands.
