That's actually a really good point. Controversial things are just naturally more memorable BECAUSE they are controversial. I wonder if anyone in the future of DCI is going to use this strategy to do a show that will keep the fandom talking about it for years to come.

I was just going to mention that. I thought '93 Star was the worst show I've ever seen when I saw it in '93. Now, I think it's the greatest show ever created, and I was stupid in '93.

It was like 20 years ahead in design.  It seems so...normal, if not "old school" now.  But compared to it's time, the arrangements with dissonance, amount of body movement, and minimalist look and such...people reacted strongly

I loved it from day one … but I was in the minority
