2023 DCI WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS

Recommended Posts

Trumpet arc wasn't quite together with the back marching and spin as I've seen them earlier but they were locked in for the feature.   It's a neat move.

Amazingly insane drill move with two rotating circles orbiting each other center field at the classic Cadets high speed.

OK, that performance was ON. I’m already glad I’m not a judge.

Also this closing arrangements is SO Cadets wtf how??

It's such a classic sound.  I'm like "is it 1984 in 2023 somehow?"

Third movement. We have our Atlas in the guard as the rest of the guard breaks out curved gold poles. These are stacked on the shoulders of Atlas to form an abstract world for him to hold up for all eternity.

A mournful baritone solo sings out leading the corps into Corynorhimus. This is one of my favorite tracks from the Christopher Nolan Batman movies and I’m so glad Cadets are playing it.

More of those rapid fire rim shots from the drum line. Very effective throughout the show.

Horns are now playing backfield as the velocity is back up. A group of 8 trumpets are playing even more insane high speed double tonging.

You don't understand how much DCP appreciates your real-time reviews, but I am going to ask you to put your phone down for these last 4 performances and enjoy them to their fullest...

And then quickly type a full review right after each show. 😂
