They are the longest running continual culture bearers of a very specific American tradition. That would be lost or severely damaged if those cats weren't holding up their traditions. This is something worth fighting for, just as any other good part of Vanguard, but this one is unique and special. And no, fellow alum, I don't mean infighting between us, I mean fighting together for sustainability and longevity of our traditions. Especially ones as sacred as the cymbal line. IIRC this was filmed in spring 1985, but didn’t come out until fall.
