  1. Personally not a big fan of the facial hair. But, honestly, it doesn't matter. It's just hair.
  2. Here's a picture of the cake. It was very delicious and much appreciated. It was also a fantastic time fraternizing with the cavies after the show. It's always a great time when hanging out with members of other corps.
  3. Hop tends to be very animated along the sidelines during a show.
  4. This may only be a tuning exercise but it definitely gives me goosebumps.
  5. DCI.org is blowing up. Having a hard time handling the sudden rush of fans wanting to see the live stream.
  6. Presenting their 20xx program "Fifty Shades of Company Front." Drum Corps International is proud to present...The Cadets! I personally like the company front and always enjoyed it.
  7. If there is any good news about the field is that it is pretty sandy soil. So it shouldn't be too bad to march on. It'll still be a bit slippery though.
  8. I was just going to type that up. Everything is dying down. Still some thunder and lightning here and there, but with any luck we'll have a show starting within the hour.
  9. I was thinking about going to Clifton to see the show, but North Brunswick is about the same distance away.
  10. Of course man, Sarcasm is my third language. Just felt I should share that 2000 is the reason I became a Cadet.
  11. 2000 is the show that made me want to become a Cadet. I have a ton of respect for this show and you for that matter (being that you marched in 2000). So, .
  12. Rehearsal site most likely to cause delirium or heat stroke: Omaha, Nebraska. Felt I should throw that out there.
  13. Had I not taken two seasons off I would've marched seven seasons. Began at 15 for the 2005 season and I ageout this season, 2011. If I had the money I would've marched 2008 and 2010, but we can't have everything haha.
  14. This is more of a question for myself. How many World Class Corps have a stripe going down their pants leg? I know the Cadets of course, but any others?
  15. I marched for the Cadets in 2009 and Spring Training Move-in day was the 15th of May. In order to be there for that day I moved all four of my finals to the 12th. Each final is 3 hours long. It takes commitment and communication between everyone to make it work.
  16. PUDDING. Never ate it until my rookie season in 2005 and I don't eat it outside of Drum Corps. So simply thinking about pudding brings up Drum Corps.
  17. It's never too late to become a member of the Raiders!...but seriously look up what happened in 2005, lol.
  18. The show sounds really interesting! I cannott wait to see/hear it on the field!
  19. Can anyone post pictures of the uni's for those who were not fortunate enough to march the 2008 season...
  20. Yeah, a bunch of kids (including Jon) head from the south to wayne and as far as I remember we're all pretty nice people.
  21. Glad to hear you're really interested in joining, best of luck!
  22. Oh Ok, I thought you were just referring to the Div I's well than that makes it a better idea i would assume, but hey, you still never know what may just hit you in the face when you turn that corner! b**bs
