Best Drum Corps Show Moment of all Time?

Recommended Posts

Have not seen SCV alumni.....wish I could.

"Never to be seen again....." refers to competing corps. My prediction only but......can't see that it would ever be brought back.

Did you see Vanguard's ballad this year? They haven't competely forgotten about it.

Every time this thread appears, I've got to add...

'84 Freelancers

"With You I'm Born Again"

Just listening to that brings a shiver to the spine and a tear to the eye!

Play ball!!!

The best particular performance of that moment had to be at DCI prelims, when it started to pour.

Good morning:

Well...it's the mommy syndrome. My fav moments would be of my daughter.

And just to show that the Bottle Dance was performed recently...

From SCV 2001 (New Era ending)

She also performed it in 2000 and 2002...too!

1984 Blue Devils tearing the house down night after night with La Fiesta.

Nothing but sheer power and excitement. That tune never failed to kill at a performance. What a way to retire "Concert".

for me hands down the 1987 cadets dissolving company front. one of the great moments in drum corps history. musically and visually it still holds up today.

I was going to go with the 'Z' pull since it set a new standard in drill....but I have to agree with you about the dissolving company front! Watching that one person going from one far end to the other is just so darn cool!

I had forgotten about that tune, but yes, it was a consistent exciting production so well written that it worked even when it was done poorly (which wasn't often).
