(in a bad way)guess we probably won't get an official nod from DCI.org until Monday, eh? this kinda sucks I think... anybody got info on the stadium at Bloomington? As somebody who marched in Bloomington for 4 years (IU Marching Hundred), I can tell you that Bloomington will be a GREAT place to have finals! Info on the stadium- well, the picture is pretty self-explanatory. Memorial Stadium is a high, HIGH venue (the pic is from pressbox level or just below it). The bottom levels of seats are practically right on the sideline, so you can get your face ripped off good. Here's another picture to see what the front side looks like: Basically, it's like Madison, but with no upper deck (and much better parking ) And to the poster who's disappointed at not being able to age out in Indy- hey, look on the bright side. DCI COULD have moved finals to West Lafayette. Now the ironic thing is, IU's stadium is ALSO being renovated to put a horseshoe on one end of it, but those renovations shouldn't interfere with the show operations one bit. It's more the story, and the hype that has been "finals in indy". I'm not impressed by IU's stadium, but granted, I'm pretty bummed about it. I'll take a look at it when I'm less bummed.
