Elmo Blatch
Even if the endzone is not used during a performance, it will make retreat interesting for some unsuspecting Open Class corps on Saturday night. We will then have to hear somebody from one of the Open Class corps complain about not being treated equally...just wait and see. i heard from someone
The Associated Press reported in an interview with Indiana athletic director Rick Greenspan that the stadium’s playing surface is affected from the south end zone to the 30- or 40-yard line, and that the university is still uncertain how much it will cost to fix. that's what the DCI article says...so it's not just an endzone problem, it goes all the way to about the 40...i wonder if the RCA dome is available? (although the parking is terrible now since the old lot now houses most of a new stadium)
Dash Fieldpaint
Haven't we all marched on rehearsal fields with elevation changes worse than that?
OtherDaryl
I'll bet Ames Field in Michigan City has those dates open.

SaraNYC
So that's where Hoffa was buried. Nah, the damage is from all the years of the Marching Hundred throwing down that chair step.
84BDsop
"...and still got a 10 in visual performance."Shades of Whitewater in 84! Oh gee....thanks for the flashbak, Parker!! (both BD and Regiment learned about that scoring at the same time on the back hill....both corps pretty much said WTF at the same time!) But hey....finally a field worse than Mars (and that, my friends, takes some doin'!!) However, I do not agree that it won't affect the corps....04 BD exit anyone?? Michael Boo
that's what the DCI article says...so it's not just an endzone problem, it goes all the way to about the 40...i wonder if the RCA dome is available? (although the parking is terrible now since the old lot now houses most of a new stadium) RCA Dome items being sold off at auction Traffic barriers already up for the tearing down of the RCA Dome. From the sounds of the two articles above, if we were there, it might be best to bring your own folding seat.
