dcsnare93
Seriously, getting worked up over a negative comment about the recording? Such is our community that crucifies individuals that provide a dissenting point of view. It's not exactly the best recording put out to date. As others have mentioned, the audio quality leaves a bit to be desired. And, sure, some people probably could have been a bit more tactful in expressing their opinion. Anyway, I'm glad they decided to share it, regardless. The music itself is great, and I can't wait to see The Cadets on the field this year. euponitone
Actually, it doesnt do much for me. I do however, enjoy some of their other selections, and certainly will give this one a chance. Just feels a little...random, to me...
Kyle B
Thanks for the link...unfortunately that sounds like crap. I KNOW RIGHT! They should be finals ready! We are paying customers and we demand perfec......oh wait...it's free and it's 5 months from Finals. My sarcasm lock on the keyboard must be permanently on. skajerk
Nowhere but drumcorps does this phrase mean so much:"The higher you get on the totem pole the more your a** shows." Give it time... Pulling from an old ska tune with the same meaning... "The higher the monkey climbs, the more he exposes"

Marching Mallets
Not a Big Cadets fan, but once they clean that up, wow! That is so Un-Cadets, it really sounds like it could be a beast on the field. Lookng forward to more.
BRASSO
the NCAA College Basketball has their " March Madness " Although not quite the same, Drum Corps also has their " March Madness ". We are in middle of Drum Corps " March Madness " right now. And it'll be this way until the Corps actually come out and march. dans
I was at camp last Sunday when this recording was made and I think my ears have finally stopped bleeding. This is a very powerful and aggresive edition of the Cadets!
2000Cadet
Actually, it doesnt do much for me. I do however, enjoy some of their other selections, and certainly will give this one a chance. Just feels a little...random, to me... Even though this clip isn't long and I haven't heard the rest of the piece, I agree with you Nick. I'm not exactly jumping out of my seat with this piece. But then again, even when Cadets have a winning show, there is always ONE piece that I don't really like. Been that way every year since before, during and after I marched Cadets.
