fsubone
Cavaliers- love this show as a whole Madison Scouts- wow. The Madison Scouts really brought it this year Bluecoats- This show is what's cool about new technology and innovation SCV- I'm a Bartok fan, and and SCV fan, so this works for me Phantom Regiment- for the entrance and back two minutes or so Blue Devils- it's entertaining in a different way Cadets- little cheesy, but I like what they're doing Blue Knights- wow, Blue Knights have really grabbed me and made me a fan Carolina Crown- Only because of Mahler, Danzon, and The Promise of Living Blue Stars- the mello section is entertaining, not too much besides that Boston Crusaders- eh, it's kind of there Glassmen- still not entertained. Step down form last year's show, which I did enjoy
wesleyrp
Assuming the top 12 stays in tact through Finals (fairly safe bet) I'd say: 1) Cadets- Most I've been entertained and liked the Cadets since the early 2000's. 2) Crown- Best Hornline I've ever heard. 3) Cavaliers- Surprise of the year with all the changes 4) Blue Knights- Best BK hornline I've ever heard- GREAT SHOW!! 5) Bluecoats- An all around in your face experience. 6) Madison- Looking more and more like Madmen of old! 7) Blue Stars- Love the corps, the show is bit underwhelming- Mello heaven! 8) Phantom- Ditto from above- a bit hokie, but what performers! 9) Boston- This one leaves me cold- Good music, but they didn't need the theme/throne. 10) Blue Devils- Visual Masterpiece! Musical Tradgedy! 11) SCV- Same as above- Visually awesome, musically meh! 12) Glassmen- Well, sold corps that looks to be solidly 12th. No real memorable moments in the show, very dry. Top to bottom maybe oone of the best top 12 we've seen. But, If I were to make my own top 12 entertaining corps it would look like this: 1) Cadets 2) Crown 3) Cavies 4) Blue Knights 5) Bluecoats 6) Madison 7) Blue Stars 8) Phantom 9) Academy 10) Spirit 11) Boston 12) Blue Devils Wes Perkins BK '97 '
AmFlag61
I'm really amazed! Having long considered DCP as the Blue Devils "unofficial" web site, the obvious dislike of the BD mirror mess is mind blowing! Although perpetually biased for the Green Machine, here's how I (and the crowds) see things; 1 Madison 2 Cavaliers 3 Phantom Regiment For the rest it pretty much depends on the individuals affiliation - except for.... 20 Blue Devils "Mirror Mess". Hey Concord! Get back to what made you 1 of the greatest ever! No more Chairs or Mirrors, just the drill & music you excel at!

N.E. Brigand
...here's how I (and the crowds) see things:1 Madison 2 Cavaliers 3 Phantom I thought the audience on Friday at Allentown gave a bigger response to Crown than to the Cavs.

Jerseyboy
Bluecoats (Just don't dig the synths, and dislike the guy playing into the microphone, you have an instrument that is loud, if the other corps don't need to mic, neither do you.)EDIT: Changed hate to dislike Cavies have 3 so called screamers soloists. . Not strong enough and have to play into a mic. that's worse.

SCV84
1. SCV - favourite music of the year, but visual could be better 2. Madison Scouts - old school meets new school = awesome 3. Cavaliers - love the music, guard is sick insane 4. Crown - love their Brass line 5. Blue Stars - guard work in straight jackets... really?!! 6. Boston - cool intro 7. BK - great music 8. Glassmen - cool show 9. Phantom - okay 10. Cadets - more cheese please 11. Bluecoats - great synth players??? 12. BD - Mirrors add a cool effect or two, but mostly = cluttered field with boring music... Hmmm... maybe I shouldn't post after a night of tequila on the town in Indy... O WTF ever...
