We met in Madison in 2006, and I had my 14 year-old son with me. I wanted to expose him to world class drum corps, and world class people. I could not have picked a better person for my son to meet. Jon embodied all the great qualities of a musician, a drum corps veteran, and a human being any one person could have. He was the best representative of all the classiness the Santa Clara Vanguard has to offer.
