2012 WC drums

Recommended Posts

Anyone remember the 1998 Crossmen drums that looked like bowling balls? Those were awesome.

Those were some nice looking drums if I must say so myself.

Crossmen camp vids show them using red yamahas. This is what they had last year though, not sure if they are getting new ones or not.

I don't think the system blue drums are coming out till 2013? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Yamaha used to give everyone new drums every 2 years. Crown, Cavaliers and Cadets have seemed to get new ones every year in recent years but I'm guessing the 2nd tier Yamaha corps like Madison, Crossmen, Colts and the Bluecoats are still on the 2 year plan. If I'm not mistaken Bluecoats get new ones last year after using the previous set for 2 seasons. I haven't heard if they are getting new ones this year or are still using the ones from last season.

These new Dynasty lugs are the worst designed lugs that I have ever seen on a drum.
