garfield
I can definately hear 'Coats playing this, but it sound like Steven Bryant and John Mackey studied together at the same school of music. charlie1223
I can't understand the complaints about this being "too dissonant"... It has a very tempered and consonant melody...

I just get tired of the "its too dissonant" garbage in general. Without dissonance, consonance has no meaning. 400 years ago, a third was considered dissonance. Stop trying to stagnate music. actucker
:sad:/> To much dissonance for my taste.....was hoping the crew from Canton was going to take a completely different spin on things musically in 2013..... This is a pretty drastic change from Ka, Masquerade, and Flume. Maybe not the departure you wanted, but definitely a completely different direction. MotoSurfBass
"Concerto for Wind Ensemble" by Steven Bryant Movement 5 starts at 5:30 in the video! 8:20 to the end sounds like Bluecoats to me! Holy S##t!
DrumManTx
If this doesn't fit Bloo's identity as of late, I don't know what does!

Galen
It's got bloo written all over it. Should be exciting. Absolutely. It sounds like it's going to be right in their wheelhouse. My question- is the composer the same Steven Bryant who wrote a piece called Hummingbrrd that Blu performed in '07?
