zachariaswmb
I think he's very happy where he's at. Indeed. As sad as I am to see him and Rennick at Vanguard, I'm thoroughly enjoying the products they've been putting out after being "unleashed", as it were. gabe211
I think next year Phantom should skip having a member's journal on their website. "Ashkahn's Adventures" hasn't been updated since July 9th. They've always been notoriously bad with those. They usually bulk upload them at the end of the season. Also, that website.... man it needs some love. kdaddy
Also, that website.... man it needs some love. What? You don't like that decade-old design? (I think it's largely the same shell they had during one of their last "tan" seasons)

Lincoln
In a podcast or interview for a magazine, Hill said something about the opera being his idea after he listened to it in the car. He then passed it along at the first design meeting. In the article you posted the link to (thanks), Hill says he was inspired by a LA Philharmonic concert he and his wife attended at the Hollywood Bowl. Gustavo Dudamel was conducting Turandot. I think anything Dudamel conducts is inspiring. At the beginning of August, PBS is showing a concert of Verdi's Requiem from the Hollywood Bowl with the LA Philharmonic and Dudamel. It sounds amazing!
