MotorCityMusician
No, it's Crown can play allot of notes and play them wonderfully, with outstanding pitch and tone quality, and can vary meter and plays dynamically. Yeah, that pretty much covers it WHERE DID I EVER SAY CROWN IN MY POST??? simple message turns into Crown people saying they can do this and that... geluf
"Play fast" and "Musical" are not mutually exclusive terms. Good grief.

Eleran
What? Meaning they let the quality of the score be primary, instead of trying to showcase the quality of their players. Edited June 19, 2014 by Eleran
N.E. Brigand
Alright announcers, first and last warning... GET YOUR #### TOGETHER and know the exact time to say "Carolina Crown!" Nope, such timing issues are the corps' fault. It's a different announcer at every show, who isn't being paid to be part of the performance, and if the corps chooses to make the announcers' various speech patterns an element in their show, then they ought to be dinged when it doesn't work out. The solution is for the corps to learn how to vamp, as Boston Crusaders did with their 1812-Les Mis show a few years ago.
Lincoln
If Cavies don't pass Phantom tonight, it won't be long until they do.

geluf
Meaning they let the quality of the score be primary, instead of trying to showcase the quality of their players. Except they don't do that at all. Just because music moves quickly, does not mean musicality has been abandoned.
Slingerland
If Cavies don't pass Phantom tonight, it won't be long until they do. I'd agree. PR had a better run, but a less well considered show.
