jjeffeory
Cavaliers brass line is that drum corps Achilles Heel! The drumline from Crown is much better at what they do then Cavaliers brass. While I agree that all three corps have a weakness, none is greater than the Cavaliers brass line ...... IMO Their brass is no weaker than that it has been historically when they've won championships ( their brass was strong 2k to 2008, but before that not known as the powerhouse that Star, Phantom, BD was); I personally believe that Crown's percussion is weaker to Crown. I'm not sure what SCV's weakness would be; brass? Bluecoats? Visual?

cadetzoid
Before someone else states it- This is the best Cavies hornline since David Bertman left. Glad things are getting back on track.

Thanks! ...and I disagree. This is probably the best post-Bertman line Cavies have had. Still more work to do, but they're trying to get there. Maybe you don't care for their current arranging style; that's not my favorite thing about them currently, BUT I've been listening to their show on FN and the line is much better than the last few years for sure and getting better and better as the season progresses. Progress to build future years. Edited August 1, 2014 by jjeffeory

Other than BD and Coats, The Cavaliers are the most well rounded across the board.
