tesmusic
I think the combination of Scott with James Sparling will bring a great show to the field!

oldbandguy
This is great news for the Scouts!!! (along with James Sparling) I would love for them to do a Kenton/Ellis show and I say that with only partial satire...
Slingerland
wonder what, if anything, this changes at Spirit. Edited August 21, 2014 by Slingerland
bawker
Long overdue. Boerma's 1990s Scouts charts are some of the most listenable, replay-able music ever to hit DCI. Yes. Boerma knows how to write for this corps . . .next season is gonna be great from a brass charts perspective! Great to see him back in Madison. jjeffeory
Welcome home, Scott!!!! http://www.madisonscouts.org/blog/?p=1258 He'll be serving as both music director and brass arranger. While I have enjoyed RW Smith's music, I can't wait to hear what Scott comes up with for the 2015 edition. This is where he's supposed to be!
theyremovingit
Robert Smith was good at Madison but really could not pull off that "Madison Vibe". Boerma is one of my favorite arrangers in the business and I absolutely cannot wait to see what he and the rest of the new staff bring!!
