Usually, the Santa musical unit at a minimum splits to the sidelines to let Rudolph and crew bring the Big Guy through the center. But 426 Madison Scouts is not the usual!!!

This snippet from one of the articles is most interesting. Kudos to their publicity committee bringing attention to the Scouts and activity nationally.

Hey, Komnick and Stewart said nothing about the Men from Madison bringing Wisconsin SNOW, but here we have the NYC suburbs expecting 6-12 inches the first of the season!

So with shovels at the ready, we mark time figuring out of the 243 horns, if 48 are shoulder thingies (contras/tubas), how many sops, how many mellos (a later add from the late 60's), how many baris, how many euphs in those remaining 195? Madison used to march a French horn section but press releases on individuals have them going mello. The real question is how many screamers in that Corps of Brothers over all those years? Who can do it higher and louder, louder than the other 242???

NY cannot wait. Watch out for falling glass!

Just watched there run throught for the parade its on utube ,they look huge ,sound great and will make anyone that ever marched in any drum corps very proud to be a part of this wonderful actively .

Remember the last time the Scouts went "big" with contras? Im going to reserve my excitement for when the parade begins.

I was hoping that madison would be playing one of thier signature songs to showcase that 243 man hornline. But from what I hear is that they will be playing holiday music.The question is will these Christmas arrangements fit madison in your face style.Hopefully, it won't be a waste of a 243 man honeline.

On the for what it's worth scale, they appear to have two flags presented to the right of the National Colors. Those two flags belong on the other side of the National Colors.
