Indy "opening" contest

Recommended Posts

There is evidence for the bias assertion, tesmusic could more than likely cite scores.

We've been asking that evidence for years, to no avail. And let's be honest, scores alone won't do it...we need observable commentary that fails to back up any numbers assigned, and also scores/commentary from other judges in the same captions in the same years. You can't just present numbers in a vacuum and claim they were given unfairly. The ball is in yall's court though....

Everyone has bias. But it's absurd to accuse a judge of purposely dropping scores just because their corps does not score well in that department. It's like last season where Cadets fans complained that the panel was "favorable" to the Bluecoats. That's some BS. The Cadets shot themselves in the foot last season, not the judges.

Hmmm, can we move on please,

How about the "good ol' college try" of "Heck, it's drum corps." It's kind of like a bad round of golf...it's still a heck of a lot better than no golf at all.

Solid comparison. Maybe I'm just overthinking it ...

I will have a couple of MN shows close to me in the coming weeks in Rochester and Mankato, but my schedule is blowing up. My only guaranteed show this summer is the Minneapolis regional.

(I know, I know ... it's so hard to live in an area with a healthy drum corps scene).

By the way, can someone post the judging panel for tonight's show like last year?

Hey not true for tonight at least, czapinski could be said to have a positive bias for the cavaliers. Torchia I believe is the jerk who has it in for my favorite corps. Edited by Anstig
